It is the regional medical center in a six-county area. It has a one hundred eighteen bed capacity, with six in intensive care. This agency provides an adult day care for senior citizens. These citizens are provided with a noon meal plus two snacks every Monday through Friday. They also participate in cultural activities, physical exercise, and parties for special occasions.
Counselling Services
Mid-South Health Systems provides mental health services to the six county area. It offers individual and family counseling, outpatient day treatment, and crisis intervention. The office is located at 4451 N. Washington, phone (870) 630-3800. A local crisis line is also available.
St. Francis County Health Unit
The St. Francis County Health Unit offers family planning, maternity care, immunizations, WIC, and EPSDT, which provides total assessment to Medicaid recipients. Their office is located at 413 North Division, phone (870) 633-1340.

The Department of Human Services, located at 1200 East Broadway assists qualified persons with Medicaid, SNAP, and TEA. Disabled persons who have to be admitted to nursing homes are covered through this department with Medicaid coverage.
