Forrest City’s Cost of Living Index is 76, driven by lower costs of housing, utilities, health care and transportation. Forrest City Industrial Park is owned by the non-profit Forrest City Industrial Development Commission. Four sites, ranging from 9 to 53 acres, remain in the fully developed industrial park. Land prices range from $8,000 to $15,000 per acre. FCIDC also holds an option on property for Phase II of the industrial park, located south of Interstate 40 and within a mile of the existing park, is available for immediate development.
