HIGHWAYS
Forrest City is located on Interstate 40, the most traveled interstate in the nation and a major thoroughfare from coast to coast. I-55 intersects I-40 35 miles to the east, and I-30 intersects I-40 85 miles to the west. Forrest City also hosts US Highway 70 and State Highways 1 and 284. Highway 284 is the state's first National Scenic By-way.
