Arkansas' transportation network and central U.S. location make the state a strategic distribution center. Forrest City, located 45 miles west of Memphis and 89 miles east of Little Rock, is an excellent location for your transportation needs. HIGHWAYS:
Forrest City is located on Interstate 40, the most traveled interstate in the nation and a major thoroughfare from coast to coast. I-55 intersects I-40 35 miles to the east, and I-30 intersects I-40 85 miles to the west. Forrest City also hosts US Highway 70 and State Highways 1 and 284. Highway 284 is the state's first National Scenic By-way. AIRPORTS:
The Forrest City Municipal Airport has a 3,000-lighted runway. Memphis International Airport is 55 miles east. Little Rock National Airport is 89 miles west.
